The situation over in Gaza

I feel badly for the innocent people caught up in all this madness, I really do. Having said that, however, what Israel is doing is perfectly justified. The Arabs and Palestinians have been bombing the Southern part of Israel for months and they are just supposed to sit back and do nothing? If they don't want to get their butts bombed then maybe they should stop asking for it by bombing Israel. I think the whole thing is ridiculous. I believe its also scriptural. God helped Israel take that land away from the Palestinians a long long time ago and the Palestinians have hated Israel for it ever since. I guess I really don't blame them, but still you lost already, just give it up and let it go. All this bombing and suicide bombings are just pointless and a waste of human life- for both sides.
However unpopular there is my two cents worth on the matter.

comments regarding saying merry christmas

I personally don't get why people have to say Happy Holidays especially in the retail industry. I know it's politically correct,but I think its a load of crap. I dont get offended by people who put up hanakah things or sing hanakah songs so why must I bow to the pc police and say Happy Holidays? Folks that get offended over stuff like that and other things of that nature really need to get a life ! I am referencing the people that are trying to get every trace of God eradicated from existence even in the traditional sense such as In God we trust on the dollar bill or the 10 commandents at courthouses. Seriously, its not hurting no one to have a reference in some public way to God. If anything it reminds us of our Christian (yes I said it) Christian roots and reminds us of the traditions and beliefs that helped found it. So to the non christians and scrooges who insist on saying Happy Holidays I say but one thing-- BA HUMBUG !

obama people vs. non obama people

I just had an interesting and somewhat heated converstation with my highly intelligent daughter. We discussed her objections to my bumperstickers. One ragged on obama for being a tax and spend liberal (which he is) and the other talked about me being in the right wing resistence fighting against all the obamamania that is out there. Now my point was I could have chosen bumperstickers that said SOOOOO much worse and really went to a place I did not want to go. But her point was that I still could have chose better and perhaps she is right. I did try to not pick radical anti obama stuff but still get something that made me point. I will look around for some of the other she pointed out and change my stickers up a bit. I think however in all this is my point. If I have to put up with seeing all this obama stickers everywhere and even some shirts and such, WHY THE HECK CANT I HAVE THE RIGHT TO HAVE MY SAY TOO? Why is it when I speak my mind I get hassled? We are a country that is supppsed to value differing opinions and ways of looking at things. I feel like because of all this obama mania that is out there I have to watch what I say or something could happen to me or my car. THAT IS SO NOT RIGHT! If folks have the right to go yeah for obama and such, then I should have the right to say what I think of him. which isnt always printable lol, however, I do try to edit it for the situiation. You say what you gotta say but dont give me crap for doing the same.

obama time's man of the year?

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME????? Like I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but seriously man of the year? I feel like I swimming upstream or something these days. Why am I the only who sees him for the socialist,pacifist liberal that he is? Or maybe people and think its a good thing (that thought by the way is scarey as he**) Either way around it man of the year ? I think not. I know folks are excited cause a black man is white house (and that is a good thing) however, his politics and those like him, are dangerous to this country.

the automaker bailout and the shoe thrower from Iraq

First topic is the automaker bailout. I say to heck with them. The unions arent willing to compromise at all or in anyway thats significant so let em' rot till they are. They are willing to hold hundreds of people hostage so they can maintain the overpriced wages and benefits they give the unionworkers. This is part of why they have so much money trouble. The second being overregulation and excessive and unreasonable enviromental controls. I say get the union to stop pricing us out of the world market and the government and enviromentalist wackos to back off a bit and the sitiuation will take care of itself. However, I dont really see either happening, so odds are we will end up having to pay for one more bailout and deal with even more government instrusion.

Second topic is the shoe thrower from Iraq. If this is how they are going to show their graditude for all we have done for them and how much money, time, and lives we have given on their behalf, then I say TO HECK WITH THEM! We should leave. Then they will really appreciate what our presence there really meant and what a good thing it was. Then it will be too late and the nutjobs will once again take over.

The for sale Senate seat

You know this really doesnt suprise me any at all. First of all, its a democrat and a liberal to boot. Having said that, I wonder just how much this has gone on before with other Senate and House seats- both republician and democrat? I have to agree with some people in their opinion that corruption in politics in this country is getting real bad-on both sides of the aisle. I believe the presidency was even bought and paid for, so why not a Senate seat? The people need to be in control, at least the ones with enough good sense to know whats good for this country and whats not and arent just thinking about whats in it for them. Too many people are like that these days and its ruining this country. The folks with common sense and the geniune desire too do whats right for this country need to TAKE IT BACK. Then we will have some hope that presidency's and Senate seats wont be up for sale or can be bought anymore.
